MAHRA, June 29 (YPA) – Three civilians were injured on Monday after gunmen reportedly affiliated with the Saudi-backed Dera al-Watan factions opened fire in the central market of Al-Ghaydah, eastern Yemen.
According to a local source, the gunfire wounded three residents of the city.
Al-Ghaydah has witnessed heightened security tensions and unrest amid prolonged power outages, with electricity reportedly cut off for more than eight hours across city neighborhoods.
No official explanation has been provided regarding the circumstances or motives behind the shooting.
