14 killed in Aramco helicopter crash in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, June 28 (YPA) – The Saudi Press Agency announced the death of 14 people following the crash of an Aramco helicopter in the Ras Tanura area in the east of the Kingdom.

The agency quoted a source at the Ministry of Energy as saying that the accident occurred at 6:00 AM, and that there were 14 Saudi passengers on board the helicopter, all of whom died.

The source confirmed that the competent authorities, in cooperation with relevant parties, have begun investigations to determine the causes of the crash and the circumstances of the accident.
