Palestinians injured in settler attack south of Nablus amid escalating Israeli violations in West Bank
WEST BANK, June 24 (YPA) – Several Palestinian citizens were injured this Wednesday morning after “Yitzhar” Zionist settlers attacked them with pepper spray in the town of Burin, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
The injured individuals—citizen Ayman Attallah Soufan and his sons—were transferred to the Ibn Sina Medical Center in Huwara for treatment, coinciding with an incursion by the occupation forces into the area to provide protection for the attacking settlers.
In a related context, Zionist settlers attacked the home of citizen Hisham Zaban in Burin late last night, destroying two vehicles parked outside. This comes as part of a series of repeated attacks targeting the Soufan family’s home in an attempt to force them to leave.
These incidents occur amidst an escalation of attacks by settlers and the occupation forces in the West Bank, which reached 1,637 attacks during last April (including 540 carried out by settlers), according to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.
