NABLUS, June 16 (YPA) – Hundreds of Zionist settlers stormed Joseph’s Tomb, east of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, before dawn on Tuesday, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
According to WAFA, the settlers entered the site to perform Talmudic prayers under heavy protection and amid a large-scale deployment of Israeli occupation forces in the area, accompanied by a military bulldozer.
It added that Israeli occupation forces took over the rooftops of several Palestinian homes, converting parts of them into military outposts. Several roads and intersections were closed during the incursion, while journalists covering the event were reportedly threatened by occupation forces.
