Death toll of Israeli aggression on Gaza reaches 72,991 martyrs, 173,212 wounded

GAZA, June 10 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, on Wednesday, that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 72,991 martyrs and 173,212 wounded since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Strip, the Gaza Health Ministry explained that Gaza hospitals received 3 martyrs (1) whose body was recovered and 2 who succumbed to their wounds, and 5 wounded during the past 24 hours.

It revealed that since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs killed by Zionist enemy fire has reached 981, the total number of wounded 3,104, and the total number of martyrs whose bodies have been recovered 783.

“Many victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them at this moment,” the ministry added.
