TEHRAN, June 01 (YPA) – Tehran issued a strongly worded warning to the Zionist entity on Monday evening against targeting the Lebanese capital, Beirut, or its southern suburb (Dahiyeh), threatening to force the evacuation of Israeli settlers in northern occupied Palestine.
In an urgent statement, Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters declared that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s threats to bombard Beirut and its southern suburb would be met with an immediate response. “In the event of an attack on the Beirut suburb, occupiers of the northern regions of the occupied territories must evacuate immediately,” the statement warned.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) emphasized that crossing red lines in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip is considered a direct confrontation with Iran.
In a related escalation, Tehran announced the freezing of its diplomatic talks with the United States, in response to the ongoing Israeli escalation and atrocities in Lebanon.
