Iranian attacks shake US military infrastructure; widespread damage at 20 bases in Middle East

LONDON, June 01 (YPA) – The BBC revealed on Monday that satellite images showed damage to at least 20 US military bases as a result of attacks launched by Iran in response to US-Israeli aggression.

According to the agency, the space analysis included military installations in eight Middle Eastern countries, where damage affected air defense systems, refueling aircraft, radars, as well as fuel depots and aircraft hangars.

The BBC noted that the material losses resulting from the strikes are estimated at millions of dollars, given the extent of the destruction inflicted on American infrastructure, including soldiers’ accommodation facilities.

The report was based on detailed analyses conducted by experts specializing in geospatial intelligence, while some military analysts suggested that the number of affected facilities was greater than the twenty bases announced.
