NEW JERSEY, May 18 (YPA) – The city of Paterson in the US state of New Jersey witnessed large public events as part of the fifth edition of “Palestine Day on Palestine Way”, which was organized by the Palestinian American Community Center on the street named “Palestine” in the city center.
Thousands of members of the Palestinian and Arab community, along with American supporters, participated in an event that lasted for hours and included artistic performances, heritage segments, and popular foods.
The event became a space to highlight Palestinian identity and culture in the United States, with Palestinian flags flying throughout the venue amidst a large audience and messages affirming adherence to identity, belonging, and passing on the Palestinian narrative to future generations.
This event is held annually on “Palestine Street”, which has become a symbol of the Palestinian community’s presence and growing influence in New Jersey.
