SAADA, May 18 (YPA) – Mass popular rallies were held on Monday in Saada province to condemn repeated insults against the Holy Quran.
In the rallies, the protesters showed solidarity with Lebanon, drawing large crowds carrying copies of the Quran, Palestinian and Lebanese flags, and Hezbollah banners.
Participants chanted slogans and Israeli actions at Al-Aqsa Mosque, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and denouncing also US and Israeli policies in the region.
The rallies reaffirmed Yemenis’ support for Palestine and the “Axis of Resistance,” stressing readiness to confront any potential escalation in the coming period.
They also urged Arab and Muslim nations to expand public mobilization efforts and boycott American and Israeli products in defense of Islamic holy sites.
