Hebrew media: Nine Israeli soldiers injured in southern Lebanon

OCCUPIED QUDS, May 18 (YPA) – Israeli media reported nine new casualties among Israeli occupation soldiers over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of wounded since the war began on February 28, 2026, to 8,752.

According to the Israeli occupation Ministry of Health, hospital admissions from the northern front are detailed as follows:
• Since the ceasefire with Iran (April 8): 851 injuries.
• Since the ceasefire with Lebanon (April 17): 433 injuries.

This surge in casualties coincides with ongoing operations by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, launched in response to continuous Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, particularly in southern Lebanon.
