Five Palestinians injured in settler attack south of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, May 17 (YPA) – Five Palestinians were injured on Sunday morning after an attack carried out by Israeli settlers in the village of Mraah Rabah, near Bethlehem.

Palestinian sources reported that a group of settlers stormed the village and attacked residents’ homes, beating civilians and spraying pepper gas, which resulted in five injuries that were treated on site.

The attackers also stole several mobile phones, damaged others, and seized the keys of one vehicle.

The attack comes amid a broader escalation of settler violence across the occupied West Bank, where residents have reported repeated assaults, property damage, and intimidation in recent weeks.
