OCCUPAIED Quds, May 14 (YPA) – The United Nations Human Rights Office said on Thursday that 11 Palestinians, including a woman and five children, were killed across the occupied West Bank during April as a result of attacks that Israeli occupation forces carried out and settlers.
In a statement posted on the X platform, the office said Israeli forces were responsible for the killing of six Palestinians, among them four children, while settlers killed four others, including one child.
It added that responsibility for the eleventh victim could not be conclusively determined because the occupation forces and settlers reportedly opened fire simultaneously during the incident.
The UN office noted that since October 7, a total of 1,095 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by the occupation and settlers, with children accounting for nearly one-fifth of the victims.
The escalation in the West Bank comes amid the continuing the occupation’s attacks and blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip for more than two years.
