BEIRUT, May 09 (YPA) – Four people were killed on Saturday in Israeli occupation’s airstrikes targeting several areas in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese media reports.
The National News Agency said an Israeli drone fired a guided missile at a motorcycle on the Toul–Deir al-Zahrani road, killing one person.
The occupation’s warplanes also carried out multiple raids along the Zoutar River area, while another strike targeting a building in the Al-Bayad neighborhood of Nabatieh reportedly killed three young men.
Since March 2, the occupation’s attacks on southern Lebanon have intensified, targeting towns, villages, and civilian infrastructure, causing casualties and large-scale displacement, according to Lebanese sources.
Although a temporary ceasefire agreement took effect in mid-April, Lebanese officials say Israeli forces continue to carry out daily violations of the truce.
