Araghchi concludes Pakistan visit, heads to Oman

TEHRAN, April 25 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi departed the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, on Saturday evening for Muscat, marking the second stop of his regional tour.

The departure follows an official visit during which Araghchi held intensive discussions with top Pakistani officials, most notably Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir.

The talks focused on:

Strengthening Bilateral Ties: Exploring ways to elevate political and security cooperation between the two nations.

Regional Issues: Reviewing efforts toward regional ceasefires and the evolving situations in Palestine and Lebanon.

Joint Coordination: Reaffirming both sides’ commitment to stability in West Asia and supporting diplomatic endeavors to end ongoing conflicts.

The Sultanate of Oman serves as the next destination for the Iranian minister to continue regional consultations regarding current developments.
