Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon kills three civilians

BEIRUT, April 23 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Health Ministry confirmed that three people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Shoukin road in the Nabatieh district in southern the country.

Additionally, Israeli artillery shelling of the town of Yater in the Bint Jbeil district wounded two people, including a child, the ministry said in a statement.

In a related development, Lebanese sources said Israeli occupation forces carried out carried out bombings in the town of Shamaa and a demolition operation in the nearby town of Yaroun in southern the country.
