Iran reopens six major airports

TEHRAN, April 19 (YPA) – Secretary of the Association of Iranian Airlines Maqsoud Asadi Samani, announced on Saturday the reopening of six airports across Iran, including Imam Khomeini, Mehrabad, Mashhad, Birjand, Gorgan, and Zahedan.

Speaking to Tasnim News Agency, Samani said airlines are preparing to resume both domestic and international flights.

He added that carriers must obtain the required approvals from the Civil Aviation Organization before operating flights, in line with established regulations.
