Iran reopens six of its airports

TEHRAN, April. 18 (YPA) – The Secretary General of the Association of Iranian Airlines, Maqsoud Asadi Samani, announced on Saturday the reopening of six airports in the country: Imam Khomeini, Mehrabad, Mashhad, Birjand, Gorgan, and Zahedan.

Samani told the Iranian news agency Tasnim that airlines are currently preparing to operate domestic and international flights.

“According to the procedures in place, airlines must obtain the necessary licenses to operate flights from the Civil Aviation Organization,” he added.
