Al-Houthi denies plans to target Saudi ports, claim conflict driven by Zionist plot

SANAA, April 06 (YPA) – Member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, stated on Monday that Yemen, alongside Iran and the free world, is confronting an “aggressive and destructive Zionist plan,” which he described as the start of “the overthrow of existing civilizations, including that of America.”

In an interview with CNN, al-Houthi said that Jews carry a destructive mentality similar to that which, according to him, once destroyed the civilization of the Prophet Solomon, and suggested that this mindset would continue to drive divisions among peoples and nations.

When asked whether Sanaa may intend to target Saudi Arabia or its economic interests if the conflict escalates, al-Houthi asserted that Yemen has “no intention to strike any Muslim country except in defense against aggression directed at Yemen.”

Al-Houthis also denied any plans to attack the ports of Yanbu and Jeddah, stating that such actions would only occur if Saudi Arabia failed to commit to de-escalation or became involved with the United States and Israel in hostile operations against Yemen.
