GAZA, April 06 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued, for the 179th consecutive day, to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Monday, resulting in further casualties and the direct targeting of international relief teams.
A Palestinian citizen, identified as “Majdi Aslan,” was killed and another injured by Israeli occupation forces’ fire in the Al-Qarara area of Khan Yunis. Additionally, two civilians were wounded when a commercial vehicle was targeted near “Street 5.”
Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a World Health Organization (WHO) vehicle on Salah al-Din Road, resulting in injuries to two staff members.
Israeli occupation violations included artillery shelling east of Khan Yunis and naval shelling targeting the Gaza City coastline, alongside extensive bulldozing operations targeting residential remains in the Al-Abara area.
This escalation follows the death of eight civilians on Sunday and comes amid persistent breaches of the fragile truce agreement that took effect on October 10, 2025. These incidents occur despite local and international calls to halt the systematic targeting of civilians and humanitarian missions.
