Iranian tribes thwart attempts to rescue pilots, damage US aircraft

TEHRAN, April. 04 (YPA) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran announced that Iranian tribes had recorded a new “epic” after successfully targeting two American helicopters inside Iranian airspace.

The IRGC said that the helicopters were attempting to carry out a rescue operation for the pilots of an F-35 fighter jet that had been shot down earlier.

The Revolutionary Guard also emphasized that the tribes’ confrontation with these helicopters in areas far from the deployment of armed forces reflects “the true strength of Iran within its territory, and shows the readiness of the popular components to defend the country in various circumstances.”

They also pointed out that comprehensive mobilization of various segments of society has confounded the calculations of the United States and Israel, and left them bewildered by the widening scope of the confrontation.

In addition, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps praised the courage and bravery of the tribes, considering them to have always been the impregnable guardians of Iran borders.
