TEHRAN, April 04 (YPA) – The Public Relations Office of Iran’s Special Petrochemical Economic Zone declared ON Saturday that several companies within the zone were directly targeted in an American–Israeli attack.
Emergency response teams successfully contained and extinguished fires at the affected sites, preventing further damage.
The assault caused damage to multiple petrochemical facilities, including Fajr 1 and 2, Karon, Razi, and Bandar Imam.
In a separate incident, the area near the Bushehr nuclear plant was struck for the fourth time since recent hostilities began, with an American–Israeli attack hitting a zone near the plant’s outer fence.
The strike resulted in the death of a security guard and damage to an auxiliary building, while the main nuclear facilities remained unharmed.
These attacks are part of ongoing US–Israeli operations against Iran since February 28, affecting civilian infrastructure, including educational and service institutions.
