Israeli occupation aircraft expand their aggression against Lebanon

BEIRUT, March. 30 (YPA) – Israeli warplanes launched a series of intense airstrikes on various areas in southern Lebanon, extending to the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Lebanese Media reported that the targeted areas included Bazouriyeh, Doueir, Haris, Ainatha, Yater, and Bint Jbeil, with artillery shelling targeted areas of Bint Jbeil.

For its part, the Lebanese army announced the martyrdom of one of its soldiers and the injury of five others, including an officer, as a result of the Israeli occupation’s shelling that targeted a military checkpoint in Al-Amiriya area on Qalila-Sour road.

Meanwhile, the Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Lebanese Prime Minister’s office revealed that the number of victims has risen to 1,238 martyrs and 3,543 wounded, amid the continuation of the Israeli aggression and growing fears of the situation escalating into a wider confrontation.
