BAGHDAD, March 29 (YPA) – Iraq’s Hezbollah Brigades stated that the continued “criminal actions” of the enemy—most recently the targeting of the port of Salalah by aircraft launched from UAE territory—were intended to widen the scope of the conflict and draw new actors into the ongoing war against Iran.
In a statement, the group said its previous deadline to halt operations against espionage and sabotage centers linked to the “U.S. embassy” was contingent on avoiding attacks on residential areas in Baghdad and other provinces.
The statement warned that if such conditions are not met, it would resume strikes on those targets with greater intensity, aiming to destroy them completely.
The group also emphasized that it would not tolerate attacks on the interests of any party cooperating with its adversaries, adding that Ukraine could be among those affected.
