Khamenei: Iran faced three wars in one year; internal front defeated “enemy” bets

TEHRAN, March 20 (YPA) – The Supreme Leader of Iran, Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, confirmed that his country has overcome three military and security wars over the past year.

He emphasized that the Iranian “front line” has proven to be far stronger than opponents’ estimates, amid escalating direct confrontations with the United States and “Israel.”

In a message marking “Nowruz,” Khamenei stated that the adversaries’ resort to military confrontation came after failed attempts to stir internal unrest, describing bets on the regime’s collapse as “miscalculated.”

He praised the presence of the Iranian people in the public sphere as an “impenetrable fortress,” calling on local media to strengthen national cohesion and avoid focusing on weaknesses to counter what he termed “malicious media campaigns.”

He pointed to shared ideological ties and common interests with neighboring countries in confronting “arrogant powers,” while simultaneously denying any involvement of the Iranian Armed Forces in recent attacks in Turkey and Oman.

These statements come at a time of intense regional military escalation since late February, involving exchanges of missile and drone strikes, alongside extensive US and Israeli raids targeting the Iranian interior and Tehran’s retaliatory strikes against sites in occupied Palestine and US bases in the region.
