Three killed in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, March 16 (YPA) – At least three people were killed Monday morning in an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Kfar Sir in Nabatieh Governorate in southern Lebanon.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency, Israeli warplanes struck a house in the town, killing one person.

The agency added that a second strike targeted an ambulance belonging to the Islamic Health Authority as it arrived at the scene of the first attack. The strike killed two paramedics and injured another.

Israeli occupation has intensified its strikes on towns, villages and cities in southern Lebanon, with a surge in air raids reported amid the ongoing regional escalation involving the United States, “Israel” and Iran.
