Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi calls for large, honorable turnout to commemorate International Quds Day

SANAA, March 12 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi affirmed that the Palestinian cause will remain the central issue for the Islamic nation, reiterating the firm stance in supporting the Palestinian people and defending their holy sites, foremost among them the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In a speech delivered Thursday evening, on the occasion of International Quds Day, Sayyed al-Houthi explained that the commitment to supporting Palestine is a religious, principled, and moral obligation. He emphasized the continued rejection of the Zionist enemy and its aggressive plans targeting the Islamic nation and seeking to corrupt humanity.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi pointed out that the Yemeni people are among the most active in commemorating International Quds Day, based on their faith-based identity and jihadist spirit, stressing that commemorating this occasion embodies the deep connection to the Palestinian cause.

He called on the Yemeni people to come out tomorrow, Friday, to commemorate International Quds Day, stressing that the attendance should be broad, great and honorable, reflecting the firm popular stance towards the Palestinian cause.

Sayyed al-Houthi considered the million-strong march to commemorate International Quds Day as part of jihad, and a great act of devotion through which believers draw closer to Allah during these blessed days.
