IRGC targets US Al‑Udairi helicopter base in Kuwait

TEHRAN, March 08 (YPA) – The Public Relations office of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that its naval forces carried out a combined drone and ballistic‑missile operation against the US Al‑Udairi helicopter base in Kuwait.

In a statement released on Sunday, the IRGC said the strike precisely hit helicopter maintenance and refueling facilities, fuel depots, aircraft, and the base command building, causing severe damage.

“Following this wave of attack, a massive fire erupted at the base, and thick, black smoke still rises from it, visible for miles,” it added.

On Saturday, IRGC announced the execution of the 27th wave of “Operation True Promise 4,” targeting the Haifa oil refinery alongside Israeli and American military sites.

According to the statement, the operation was a direct response to the recent strike on the Tehran refinery.

The IRGC stated that the joint assault utilized “Kheibar Shekan” missiles and drones.

The operation also included strikes on military quarters in the “Marina” area, the 5th Fleet’s drone command unit, and logistics warehouses in “Bandar Salman.”

The bases of “Al-Udeid”, “Al-Dhafra”, “Al-Jufra”, and “Sheikh Issa” were subjected to repeated missile and drone strikes.
