18 civilians killed, 8 injured in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, March 08 (YPA) – At least eighteen Lebanese were killed and eight others injured early on Sunday morning in a series of airstrikes carried out by the Israeli occupation on the town of Sir Al-Gharbiya in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli occupation army also issued an evacuation warning to residents south of the Litani River, ordering them to leave the area immediately ahead of planned strikes.

The occupation forces continue to target various areas across Lebanon with air and artillery attacks, resulting not only in casualties but also the destruction of dozens of buildings and infrastructure.
