Iran death toll from US-Israeli aggression rises to 1,230 martyrs
TTEHRN, March 05 (YPA) – The death toll from the Zionist-American aggression against Iran has risen to 1,230 martyrs, with more than 6,000 wounded, since the attacks began last Saturday.
Iran’s Mehr News Agency quoted the Iranian Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation as saying in its third statement that “the number of martyrs resulting from the military aggression launched by the United States and the usurping Israeli entity against Iran has reached 1,230.”
Meanwhile, the website of Al Mayadeen cited the head of Iran’s emergency services as confirming that the number of wounded in the attacks has exceeded 6,000.
In a related development, the Iranian Red Crescent Society reported that the US-Zionist aggression has so far targeted 105 civilian buildings, including residential complexes.
On the morning of February 28, the United States and the Israel launched a new wave of attacks against Iran, which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and struck schools, hospitals, mosques, and other civilian facilities.
In response, Iran announced the launch of Operation “True Promise 4,” targeting Israeli positions and American military bases across the region.
