Iran denies responsibility for strikes on Omani territory, coastal areas

TEHRAN, March 03 (YPA) – The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces on Tuesday denied reports claiming that Iran had launched an attack on Omani territory.

In a statement carried by the Iran’s official news agency, the General Staff categorically denied allegations of any military aggression on the “territories and coasts of the friendly and neighboring Sultanate of Oman.”

Last Saturday, the United States and Israeli enemy launched what Tehran described as a new offensive against Iran, resulting in hundreds of civilian casualties and damage to national infrastructure.

In response, Iran announced the launch of Operation “True Promise 4,” targeting Israeli positions and U.S. bases in the region.
