Mass demonstrations in Kashmir protesting assassination of Imam Khamenei

KASHMIR, March. 03 (YPA) – Thousands of Muslims demonstrated in Srinagar, the capital of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, to condemn the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

 

The protesters, waving red, black, and yellow flags, gathered in the city’s main square, with many chanting slogans against the Israeli occupation and the United States.

 

In addition, footage showed crowds marching through the city streets, with some participants carrying pictures of Ayatollah Khamenei. Similar demonstrations took place in other parts of Kashmir and India.
