Sanaa expresses deep concern over rising tensions between Pakistan, Afghanistan
SANAA, Feb. 27 (YPA) -The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Sanaa has expressed deep concern over the escalating military tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, warning of potential serious consequences for security of both countries and regional stability.
In an official statement, the ministry urged both neighboring nations to prioritize dialogue, exercise restraint, and resolve their differences through peaceful means.
The ministry expressed confidence in the wisdom of the leadership of both countries, noting their awareness of global conspiracies, orchestrated by “Zionist” interests and their affiliates, aimed at sowing division and igniting conflicts within the Muslim world.
The statement emphasized the need for joint action to thwart such plots and cautioned against actions that could deepen disputes or undermine bonds of brotherhood and cooperation.
Furthermore, The ministry called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and neighboring Muslim countries to play a constructive role in facilitating dialogue, helping to contain the crisis, preserve historical ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan, and promote security and stability across the region.
