Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi: Targeting Lebanon is aimed at stripping it of its power

SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said on Thursday that what the Israeli enemy is doing to the Lebanese people, and the continued targeting of Hezbollah, comes in the context of efforts to strip Lebanon of all means of power and protection.

He stressed that the Israeli enemy is not seeking peace as “some deluded people imagine.”

In his ninth Ramadan lecture, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi explained that the Israeli enemy “is not interested in any real peace with Lebanon,” considering that its behavior reflects a continuous aggressive approach, and that what is happening aims to weaken the elements of deterrence in the region.

Regarding the Palestinian issue, Sayyed al-Houthi questioned the usefulness of 14 Arab countries condemning the decision to annex the West Bank, noting that such statements “will not benefit the Palestinian people unless they are accompanied by practical actions.”

He added that some parties “are content with statements to fulfill their obligations, while they provide financial support to the Israeli enemy.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi also warned that the Islamic nation faces a great danger in fateful issues with dire consequences and serious effects, considering that ignoring the facts of faith contributes to exacerbating the challenges that the region is going through.
