Syrian citizen killed, 29 others injured due to Israeli attacks on eastern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Feb. 27 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation launched, on Thursday, several attacks on towns in Bekaa Valley of eastern Lebanon, resulting in the death of one Syrian citizen and injuries to 29 others, including one in critical condition, Lebanese sources reported.
 
According to the sources, Israeli warplanes targeted the vicinity of the town of Buday and its surrounding mountains, the vicinity of the town of Tamnin, the mountains of Harbata, and the mountains of Shamshtar.
 
The occupation also launched an airstrike on the mountains of Hermel.
 
These attacks come within the framework of Israel’s ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement of November 27, 2024, UN Security Council Resolution 1701 of 2006, and Lebanese sovereignty.
