Gaza hospitals receive two fatalities, four wounded following Israeli attacks

GAZA, Feb. 19 (YPA) – Gaza-based Ministry of Health said on Thursday that two people were killed and four others injured in the past 24 hours, arriving at hospitals across the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing Israeli offensive.

In a statement, the ministry noted that the humanitarian crisis in the enclave continues to worsen as the number of casualties rises and many victims remain unreachable.

In its daily statistical update, the statement stated that since the ceasefire announced on October 11, 2025, the death toll has reached 611 deaths, with 1,630 injured.

During the same period, 726 additional bodies were recovered from beneath the rubble.

It added that the overall toll since October 7, 2023, has climbed to 72,069 deaths and 171,728 injuries, marking one of the deadliest conflicts in the enclave’s history.

The statement further emphasized that many victims are still trapped under debris or lying on roads, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them because of extensive destruction and hazardous conditions on the ground.
