GAZA, Feb. 11 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that Gaza hospitals received eight fatalities over the past 24 hours, including three bodies recovered from beneath the rubble, along with 20 injured individuals, amid ongoing Israeli occupation’s strikes across the Strip.
In its daily update, the ministry noted that additional victims remain trapped under debris or lying in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to access several locations due to continued bombing, hazardous field conditions, and limited operational capacity.
The ministry stated that about 591 people have been killed and 1,578 wounded since the ceasefire took effect on October 11.
It also documented the recovery of 720 bodies from previously devastated areas during the same period.
According to the latest figures, at least 72,045 Palestinians have been killed and 171,686 injured as a result of the Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023.
Casualties have been continued to arrive at the few hospitals still functioning in Gaza, as the health sector faces near-total collapse and severe shortages of medical staff and essential supplies.
