BEIRUT, Feb. 11 (YPA) – Hezbollah Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, affirmed that “Israel” has failed to achieve its objectives in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran, emphasizing that the Israeli occupation has become weaker than ever despite international support.
During his speech at a memorial ceremony for martyr Ali Salhab in the Beqaa, Sheikh Qassem explained that the Resistance saved Lebanon and protected its sovereignty during the state’s absence.
He noted that its legitimacy is rooted in the Constitution and the National Accord Document (Taif Agreement).
Qassem affirmed that the Resistance is committed to keeping the occupation unstable; it remains the primary guarantee for protecting the land.
He noted that Hezbollah has begun providing housing allowances for those affected by the aggression and insists on holding parliamentary elections on schedule.
In his speech, Qassem saluted Iran on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory, affirming the steadfastness of the Axis of Resistance under the leadership of Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
He called on the state to benefit from the Resistance’s expertise to strengthen the “Army, People, and Resistance” equation.
