New details surface on secret contacts between senior Emirati official, Epstein

WASHINGTON, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s files have revealed the repeated communications between Emirati diplomat Hind Al Owais and the convicted sex offender in 2011 and 2012.

These messages indicated Al Owais arranged meetings for Epstein with her and her sister—months before her 2015 appointment as senior adviser to the UAE President’s Office at the United Nations.

Epstein’s diary and letters further documented frequent meetings and coordination with Al Owais, including remarks about introducing her sister.

Although the documents showed no evidence Epstein influenced her UN role, the timing and extent of access prompt questions about elite networks and career advancement in global institutions.

Al Owais later served as a counsellor at the UAE’s Permanent Mission to the UN and now chairs the UAE’s Permanent Human Rights Committee.
