GAZA, Jan. 31 (YPA) -The Gaza Government Media Office (GMO) reported on Saturday that since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, Israeli occupation forces have committed 1,450 violations over 111 days, killing 524 Palestinians, including 260 children, women, and elderly.
Civilians made up 92% of the deaths, with 96% occurring away from the front lines, the office said.
Early Saturday, Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale attack on Gaza, killing 11 people in multiple airstrikes, including seven members of a single family in Khan Yunis southern Gaza, among them five children, a woman, and an elderly person.
According to the office, ceasefire violations included 487 gunfire incidents, 71 military vehicle incursions into residential areas, 679 airstrikes or targeted attacks, and 211 demolitions of homes and other structures.
The office condemned the attacks as a serious breach of the ceasefire and an attempt to enforce a humanitarian crisis through subjugation, starvation, and extortion, holding ‘Israel’ fully responsible for the ongoing deterioration, deaths, and property destruction during a period meant for a lasting ceasefire.
