HADRAMOUT, Jan. 30 (YPA) – A gunman was killed and three others were injured on Friday in the armed confrontation in Hadramout province, east of Yemen.
Local sources familiar with the matter said the pro-Saudi Dera al-Watan factions and elements of Hadramout Tribes Alliance (HTA) clashes in the coastal district of Al-Shuhr.
The sources confirmed that the confrontations broke out at the dispatch point located in the Al-Dfika area west of Al-Shuhr, after gunmen loyal to the HTA refused to hand over their weapons to the elements of the Dera al-Watan.
After the clashes, the wounded were transferred to one of the city’s hospitals for treatment, amid a situation of armed tension between two sides in the Al-Shuhr area.
