Sanaa takes measures to curb illegal migration

SANAA, Jan. 29 (YPA) – The National Committee on Refugee Affairs held a meeting Wednesday, chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister and Committee Head Abdulwahid Aburas, with Deputy Interior Minister Major General Mohammed Al-Hakim and other committee members

The meeting focused on reviewing measures to curb the growing flow of illegal migrants from Africa, especially Ethiopia, and on coordinating with government institutions to reduce the social and economic impacts.

Officials urged the international organizations, particularly the International Organization for Migration (IOM), to take responsibility in tackling the issue and its effects.
