Meteorology issues warnings regarding dust storm, cold weather around Yemen

SANAA, Jan. 26 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning issued a warning, on Monday, to seafarers and fishermen in the southern western coast, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the western Gulf of Aden about rough seas and high waves.

 

In its weather bulletin, the center warned citizens in desert areas, the interior plateaus, and mountainous regions about a dust storm and advised against direct exposure to dust, especially for the elderly and children.

 

It also warned citizens in the mountainous regions and interior plateaus, or those traveling to them, about the cold weather, especially for the elderly, children, the sick, and those working at night and in the early morning.
