ADEN, Jan. 22 (YPA) – Southern Yemeni journalist Salah Al-Saqladi revealed on Thursday shocking information stating that nearly 15 media workers from Aden Independent Channel (AIC) and the radio station affiliated with the recently dissolved UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) were killed during Saudi airstrikes on Dhalea governorate in early January.
In a post on the X platform monitored by the agency, Al-Saqladi stated that the fate of between 10 and 15 media workers from Aden Channel (AIC) and the STC’s radio station remains unknown, suggesting they may have been among the victims of the Saudi airstrikes on Dhalea.

He added, “The STC to issue an official statement of condolence for those killed within the coming hours, although several southern media platforms later denied the accuracy of these reports.”
Saudi warplanes carried out multiple airstrikes on the stronghold of the head of the dissolved STC, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, in the Zubaid area of Dhalea Province on the seventh of this month, following his refusal to travel to Riyadh and his departure from Aden to an unknown destination.
