SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and early warning warned on Thursday of a widespread dust wave sweeping a number of desert areas, coming the Empty Quarter.
In its air bulletin, the center affirmed that the provinces of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Marib and Jawf would be affected by the dust wave.
It expected a cold atmosphere during the coming hours will extend to Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda, and the interior plateaus accompanied by a noticeable decrease in temperature.
The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, the patients and children, from direct exposure to dust in order to preserve their health, as well as drivers from a decrease in horizontal visibility.
