Two attackers killed in Lahj clashes

LAHJ, Jan. 10 (YPA) – Two attackers were killed and two-house guards injured on Saturday in clashes broke out in the city of Al-Habilein of Radfan district in Lahj province, south of Yemen.

Local sources said that the clashes happened after about 20 gunmen to try to break into the house of Mukhtar al-Nubi, the commander of Fifth Brigade Support’s brigade of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council in the district,

According to the sources, the guards assigned to protect the Nubian’s house left their positions and fled.

The sources added that the attempt resulted in the breaking of some rooms and the seizure of weapons.
