Deputy FM discusses with Russian Ambassador peace process in Yemen

SANAA, Dec. 24 (YPA) – The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Sana’a, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, on Wednesday met via video conference with the Russian Ambassador to Yemen, Yevgeny Kudrov.

According to the official Saba News Agency, the meeting discussed the latest developments related to the peace process in Yemen.

During the meeting, the Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized the historical relations between the two friendly countries, praising Russia’s balanced stance on the Yemeni issue at the Security Council.

For his part, the Russian Ambassador to Yemen indicated his country’s keenness to achieve peace in Yemen and end the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people.
