10 people killed, 10 others injured due to shooting in South Africa

CAPE TOWN, Dec. 21 (YPA) – The police in South Africa announced, on Sunday, that unknown gunmen killed ten people and injured ten others in a shooting in a town near the capital, Johannesburg.

The police told Agence France-Presse (AFP) that the motive for the shooting in Bakersdale, located 40 kilometers (25 miles) southwest of the city, remains unknown.

In a statement, the police said “Some of the victims were shot indiscriminately in the streets by unidentified gunmen.”
