Death toll from “Israeli genocide” in Gaza rises to 70,663

GAZA, Dec. 14 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that the overall casualty toll from the continuous Israeli aggression (Israeli genocide) on the Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 70,663 martyrs and 171,139 wounded.

In its daily statistical report on casualties, the ministry indicated that the hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 9 martyrs (5 new martyrs and 4 retrieved bodies) and 45 wounded during the preceding 24 hours, further compounding the already catastrophic situation.

Furthermore, the ministry revealed the detailed casualty count recorded since the ceasefire declared on October 11, 2025. This post-ceasefire period alone has accounted for 391 martyrs, 1,063 wounded, and 632 bodies of martyrs recovered.

Medical personnel in the Gaza Strip continue to work under extremely difficult conditions to provide care for the injured and manage the daily influx of casualties resulting from the ongoing Israeli occupation bombardment.
