Senior Sanaa official threatens to bring Saudi airports into closure circle

SANAA, Dec. 14 (YPA) – A senior politician in Sanaa threatened on Sunday to bring Saudi airports and ports into the closure circle, in response to accusations by Riyadh of tightening the blockade on Yemen.

Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, a member of Ansarallah’s political bureau, said in a post on the X platform that Sanaa is aware of Saudi involvement in preparations for escalation, referring to reports that Riyadh directed the so-called “mercenaries” to intercept commercial ships and inspect them at sea.

“The Yemeni armed forces are on standby, and if this happens,” Al-Bukhaiti added. “If this happens, it is certain that Saudi airports and ports will then enter the closure cycle.”

In another post, he called for the Saudi and Emirati forces to pack their bags and leave Yemen, considering that the delay would be dangerous.

Al-Bukhaiti called on the Yemeni people to be on high and wide alert in anticipation of any developments, pointing out that there may be surprises and major events to come.
