Wide-scale Israeli arrest, raid campaign launched in West Bank

WEST BANK, Dec. 08 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale campaign of raids and incursions in West Bank cities and villages on Monday morning and dawn, including setting up military checkpoints and carrying out arrest operations targeting a number of Palestinian citizens.

The occupation forces arrested three citizens in the Bethlehem Governorate after forces raided the village of Al-Rashaydeh and the town of Za’tara.

The occupation forces tightened their measures north of Ramallah, partially closing the Atara checkpoint and setting up checkpoints at the city’s entrances, leading to the detention of hundreds of vehicles.

An incursion into the city of Al-Bireh was also recorded on Sunday evening, amidst live fire.
